Community & User Content Policy
Draft for legal review — effective 25 September 2026
This Policy applies to user-generated content (“UGC”) that other CrowdifAI users can see or access, including marketplace listings, previews, reviews, creator profiles, stories and any future comments or social/community features.
It supplements the Terms of Service and Creator/Seller Terms.
1. Before posting
You must accept CrowdifAI’s Terms and this Policy before creating or uploading UGC that can be visible to other users.
You are responsible for your content and must have the rights and permissions needed to post it.
2. Content we do not allow
Do not post or upload content that:
- is illegal or facilitates illegal activity;
- sexually exploits or endangers children;
- contains non-consensual sexual/intimate material;
- contains credible threats of violence or targeted harassment;
- promotes terrorism or violent extremist activity prohibited by law/store policy;
- unlawfully discriminates against or dehumanizes protected groups;
- doxxes another person or publishes private personal information without lawful authority;
- infringes copyright, trademark, database, privacy, publicity, confidentiality or trade-secret rights;
- contains malware, credential theft, phishing or malicious payloads;
- is fraudulent, impersonating, manipulated to deceive buyers, or materially misrepresents dataset provenance/quality;
- is spam or designed mainly to manipulate reviews, ratings, referrals, rewards or marketplace ranking;
- contains stolen credentials, private keys, passwords, bank credentials or equivalent secrets; or
- otherwise violates Apple App Store, Google Play or CrowdifAI safety/content rules applicable to the feature.
3. Marketplace-specific rules
Marketplace sellers must accurately describe datasets and must not claim that a dataset is anonymous, legally cleared, exclusive, bias-free, validated or fit for a regulated use unless that statement is supportable.
Preview content must not expose sensitive data that a buyer should only receive after lawful licensing or that should not be distributed at all.
4. Reviews
Reviews must reflect a genuine experience with the applicable listing/purchase. Do not:
- exchange payment or rewards for a particular rating unless clearly permitted and disclosed;
- post fabricated reviews;
- coordinate review manipulation;
- threaten a seller/buyer to change a review; or
- include unrelated personal/confidential information.
CrowdifAI may restrict reviews to verified purchasers or verified interactions.
5. Reporting content and users
Production mobile apps that expose UGC must provide a readily accessible in-app mechanism to report objectionable content and users where required by the relevant store policy.
Reports should include a reason category and optional details. CrowdifAI will review reports in a timeframe appropriate to severity, with urgent illegal/safety reports prioritized.
General content/safety contact: [CONTENT MODERATION EMAIL].
6. Blocking users
Where users can interact with or repeatedly encounter content from a specific other user, CrowdifAI will provide blocking/hiding controls appropriate to that interaction model where required by Apple/Google policy.
Blocking should prevent the blocked user/content from continuing the applicable direct interaction or visibility relationship as technically appropriate.
7. Moderation
CrowdifAI may use automated filters, manual review, user reports and risk signals to identify content that violates this Policy.
CrowdifAI may:
- reject or prevent publication;
- reduce/remove public visibility;
- remove a review/story/listing;
- disable a file or preview;
- warn or restrict a user;
- suspend marketplace/community functionality; or
- terminate an account for serious or repeated violations.
Moderation tools can make mistakes. Where appropriate, users should be able to appeal a material moderation decision through [MODERATION APPEAL EMAIL/URL].
8. Illegal content and urgent safety issues
CrowdifAI may preserve and disclose information where required by lawful process or where otherwise permitted/required by law for urgent safety, fraud or rights enforcement.
Nothing in this Policy authorizes CrowdifAI staff to ignore mandatory reporting or takedown obligations.
9. Intellectual-property and privacy complaints
Copyright, privacy, confidentiality and other rights complaints should be sent to [LEGAL/IP EMAIL] with enough information to identify the challenged content and the basis of the claim.
CrowdifAI may temporarily restrict access while investigating.
10. Child safety
CrowdifAI is intended for users aged 18+. Child sexual abuse material and sexual exploitation of minors are strictly prohibited and will be handled according to applicable law and platform/store requirements.
11. Enforcement factors
When deciding an appropriate response, CrowdifAI may consider:
- severity and illegality;
- risk of harm;
- whether the violation was intentional;
- repeated violations;
- impact on buyers/creators;
- cooperation with investigation; and
- legal/store requirements.
CrowdifAI may take immediate action without prior warning for severe abuse, security threats, illegal content or urgent risk.
